St Laurence Church is a church for the whole community.
We are here to worship God and to proclaim the love and hope of God in this place through being a Christ like presence to all we meet.

The are currently two services on Sundays 9.15am and 11.15am and they vary from Family Service, Holy Communion, Healing Eucharist, Morning Worship and also a Café Worship once a month.
The church building is partly medieval and partly Victorian having been rebuilt by the famous Victorian architect, Butterfield. In 2005 a modern, award-winning extension, called The Ark, was added.
We have an active missionary link with a church in Peru, a church Middle School and church organisations for people of all ages.
