About – Redditch Mission Area

The Redditch Mission Area (RMA) is an new and exciting initiative, supported by the Diocese of Worcester Transformation Project.

Our aim is to work with 12 Church of England churches in and around Redditch to allow them to be healthy and sustainable. By doing this we pray that they all each worship and serve their communities in the way God is leading each of them.

.Our key aim is to: Facilitate, enable, and share in God’s mission.

We have funding for staff to work across the area combining hands-on work in specific areas with work across the area overall.

Examples of there work we will be doing are to:

• Providing practical administrative, operational, and compliance support,
• Fostering skills-sharing and efficiency.
• Aiding churches to work together where they is synergy.
• Working with specific groups such as Children and Families, Youth and in Lower Income Communities.

The project has funding for three years and hope that as we develop the work this will continue beyond that time frame.
