Paul Lawlor

Mission Area Leader

Paul, having served in Redditch since 2011, brings extensive experience and leadership to the Redditch Mission Area, encouraging collaboration and fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose. Prior to ordination he worked as a Technical Director of an engineering software company and was part of the leadership team of a church plant.

As Area Dean of Redditch and Bromsgrove, he provides leadership and support to the clergy and churches in the region. Paul has pastoral responsibility for St John’s Greenlands.

Revd Gail Rogers

Vicar of Alvechurch and Beoley

Gail serves in the two areas in the north of Mission Area. The two churches have a distinct missional focus and Gail has a passion for reaching out into the community.

Revd Glenn Reading

Vicar in the Christ the King Benefice

Glenn serves in 4 churches in the south of the Mission Area. Bridging between rural church into the more urban settings of Redditch. Glenn brings an understanding of Anglo-Catholic tradition to our team.

Damian Herbert

Diocesan Transformation Programme Director

During his career, Damian has been involved in different types of church plants and started a new worshipping community when he was working as a Children and Families Missioner. He has been a Growing Younger Facilitator at the Diocese of Birmingham, supporting churches with reaching children and families, and in his most recent role, he has worked with over 100 parishes, helping them to develop and grow.

Elaine Whitfield

Secretary to Charity

Elaine brings extensive experience in administration, media, event management, community engagement and more. Her diverse skill set makes her an asset to our Team.

Elaine worships at St John’s Greenland’s and currently provides admin support to the RMA

Revd Dick Johnson

Work Place Chaplain with Faith at Work and the Police and Fire Service

Dick has served as a work place chaplain for many years. He has lead Faith at Work in Worcestershire and is the lead chaplain for West Mercia Police and Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service. Dick brings experience of running a smaller charity which links with churches.

Neil Bishop

Treasurer

Neil has extensive experience as a management accountant and works with churches and Redditch Food Bank.

The Team is also supported by Rose Humphrey (Deanery Admin)

We also enjoy diocesan support from Ven. Archdeacon of Dudley and others from within the transformation team of the Diocese and beyond.
